You're Not my Father by Paul Slocum

The purpose of this project is to produce a collaborative video by recruiting 15-20 small groups from the Internet to recreate a specific ten second scene from the television show Full House. When I have collected enough videos from participants, the entries will be edited for timing, music will be added, and a video will be produced with each of the submissions played sequentially, followed by the original footage from Full House. The video will be shown in at least one gallery exhibition and on www.turbulence.org, the website of the arts organization that commissioned this work.

I have a commission for this piece and so I will be able pay $150 (recently increased from my original offer) for each completed re-creation of the Full House scene that conforms to my guidelines. When I receive the completed video that meets the requirements, I will either mail a check or pay via a Paypal, or I can meet you if you live in Dallas. This offer is limited to one entry per group and you must to reserve a spot before you start working on your video.

If you think you would like to participate, download and read the PDF document explaining the requirements for making the video. The requirements may seem a bit complicated at first, but as long as you follow them the best you can, it will work fine for the project. If you decide you do want to participate and want to reserve a spot, or if you have any questions, please me.
