There are two new media teaching positions opening at University of North Texas in Denton, which is basically a suburb of Dallas. The positions require an MFA. I like Denton, and UNT has notable arts and music programs. I would consider applying if I had an MFA. If anyone is interested in this, contact me and I’ll give you more information.
As an incentive, my gallery brings a lot of new media to Dallas. In the three years we’ve been open we’ve had Tom Moody, Paper Rad, Cory Arcangel, Michael Bell-Smith, Artificiel, John Michael Boling and Javier Morales, JODI, Arcangel Constantini, Kevin Bewersdorf, Guthrie Lonergan, Kristin Lucas, Marisa Olson, Olia Lialina and Dragan Espenschied, and Petra Cortright. Most of those artists came to Dallas for the show.

1) We have a great new show opening at And/Or tomorrow night. Fri Nov 30th 6pm-9pm w/ performance by Florene at 8:30. Show includes Michael Bell-Smith, Curtis Jackson Davis, Lauren Gray, Wendy Red Star, Amy Revier, John Salvest, and Lee Walton.
2) Then Saturday Dec 1st, I’m playing as Tree Wave in New York at Eyebeam for the Blip Festival.
3) I’ll be in Miami next weekend. I’m performing at the Fountain Art Fair Friday night around 10pm.
